On Thursday 4th August representatives from colleges and universities across the Liverpool City Region under the umbrella of Merseyside Network for Collaborative Outreach descended upon Our Place for the day to offer a lovely lunch, taster sessions, information, guidance and activities exploring how young people can progress to further and higher education.
Hi all! So it’s January and we’re all back in work, full of roast dinner and ready to take on 2015! However before we get on to the future, we’d just like to take a moment and look back on the Christmas season to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, spread the word, came along and generally helped make Our Place’s first Christmas one to remember!
We're thrilled to tell you that we now have our Sefton Care Leaver's Team in place and working hard to get the project off the ground successfully! The Co-ordinator of the Project is Paula James, Activity Worker is Alan Cunningham, Centre Worker Trainees are Jo Lee and John Gould and the project administrator/reception worker is Stef Kenyon, we're delighted to welcome them to our happy team and look forward to their future successes! If you would like to find out more about the work of the care leavers' centre, please contact us at Venus.
